Styles that May Be Exiting in 2019

Before we jump into this year's trends, here are a few thoughts on what may be exiting this year. We share this with a caveat though: you like what you like and it really doesn't matter if it' s in or not. This is for those who like to be on trend! 

Round Brilliant Cut Solitaire

With all the outside-the-ring-box trends you're going to read about below, the round brilliant cut solitaire may not be on as many hands this year. However, it is still one of the most enduring classics around, so if you like it, go for it!

Rose Gold

 Rose gold has been the queen of the metal tones for several years now and we believe that may start to decline. But hey, if you like it, that's what counts!

Oh, this is one of our FAVORITES this year. Gallery detailing is all about the little things. Look for gorgeous touches like surprise diamonds, a pop of a different metal tone, or an accented gallery to make your ring stand out from the sea of rings. Gallery detailing is awesome way to add something special and unexpected to your ring! 

Classic and Contemporary Three-Stone Rings

And the three-stone ring is back! Made popular years ago as a beautiful way to celebrate your anniversary (celebrating a couple’s past, present and future), it's now back as a gorgeous engagement ring.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry certainly brought this style back into the limelight with her engagement ring. A three-stone ring features a center diamond or gem accented by two diamonds or gemstones on either side. It's a wonderful way to celebrate your love and commitment and it sure is fun to have more than one diamond or gemstone, right?

Yellow Gold

Yellow gold is finally making a comeback and we believe it's going to be a big comeback! (Meghan Markle’s ring probably contributed to this trend as well as it is a beautiful goldtone!) 

Gold works with diamonds and colored gemstones and its bright tone is always eye-catching and complements all styles and types of diamond engagement rings, classic or trendy!

Stunning Stacked and Nested Ring

Yup, stacked is back! Well, it never "really" left but expect to see much more of these rings. Adding more than one wedding band has been popular for a while now, and now, brands are designing more individual rings that have a “stacked look.” We love this trend and are happy to see more of it!

Dreamy Halos

Oh halo...we don't think they will ever leave us and with good reason: they make your center diamond appear larger and sparklier!  Who doesn't love and want that? This year we'll see more creative shapes and designs as couples express their love and commitment through this oh-so-popular style.
