The Met Gala is a much anticipated fashion event of the year. With its ever-changing and entertaining theme, fashionistas and jewelry lovers everywhere eagerly anticipate the looks that will line one of the most famous red carpets of New York.
We covered last year's event with its Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imaginationtheme...yeah, it didn't disappoint. But then again, the Met Gala never does! The Met Gala, which celebrates the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit has a reputation to maintain!
This year's theme was “Camp: Notes On Fashion” and it was filled with over-the-top, flamboyant, and extravagant looks.
While 2018's “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” exhibit brought out opulence and extravagance, this year we saw over-the-top drama and embellishment!
There certainly were a myriad of amazing, campy looks, but here are our top 3 favorites of the evening:
